We don't feel like eating much these days because it is too hot.  So naturally, we make a salad almost everyday.  I think that cooking with colorful foods can be more appetizing to eat.  The colorful vegetables are  beautiful so it makes us more hungry.

I like cloudy days more than sunny days.  I like the calm atmosphere.  This is because I prefer the winter more than summer even though I feel cold easily.  Now, it is real summer time.  It is humid, but not as much as last year.  The sun is too hot and bright.  I'm already tanned on my feet and arms from the sun. :(  The only one good thing about summer to me, it is ideal for taking a walk in the cool breeze after sunset.

I believe and support him in whatever he does.  It will be a little tough time for us, but the belief each other will make us be strong.  We can make this period of time be good or bad in the future.  I am not scared of anything if I am with him.  I strongly believe in the power of us when we do something together. :)

One of good things after getting married is that we can go jogging and have a breakfast together. It feels good to start the day fresh. I stopped going to the office and started working at home from last week. Because of this reason, I can spend more time to cook breakfast more than before. And I can enjoy my morning time better.

This is one of my favorite photos of our rainy wedding day.  My friends caught this beautiful scene.  This is amazing!!! :)

I haven't gotten used to using a manual camera.  Recently, I am trying to use his Leica film camera.  It is an old one, looks great.  Mike drew some drawings to explain the focus and shutter speed to me.  My memory is really bad about numbers.  It is not easy to remember but I keep practicing.  Taking a photo with a digital camera is comfortable, but I always miss the analogue feeling.  Let's go forward for my 1st roll on a Leica! :)

We brought my puppy 'Poby' from my Dad's house two weeks ago.  I wanted her to live with us until we move to the States.  But, she went back after three days because she couldn't adapt to our apartment.  She was really nervous when we went out.  On the third day, I was shocked when we came back home.  She was sitting on the edge of the chair toward an opened window.  She peed everywhere and tried to go out the window.  It was just one or two hours!  She is 10 years old now, quite a calm and good puppy.  She has never made any trouble when my family moved to a different apartment.  So I was surprised even more...  We made a sad decision to take her back to my Dad's house.  We couldn't take care of her well.  She looked happy in her real house.  Coming home after saying goodbye to her, I felt guilty a lot.  Poby maybe needs more time to adapt here, but I couldn't watch over her.  It was very difficult for her to adapt to her new home.  I regret that I tried to take her to a new environment.  She is old and exhausted because of her bad eyes.  I felt sorry for her, and I miss her much.

Mike really wants to go back to the States for the food.  We made one rule when we arrived in Seoul after our honeymoon - we will cook dinner at home almost everyday and the dinner should not be Korean food.  He always has Korean food for lunch in the office.  And I can practice cooking some other dishes that are not Korean food for the future.  I don't care about only eating Korean food once a day so we've kept this rule well until now.

Grits and fruits - Our breakfast, these days.  I have just had oatmeal or cereal before, but this is great!  It is very easy to make and the taste is too soft like Korean 'juk'.  We boil the water, mix the grits, and put a cooked half fried egg and butter on the top of grits.  I can't stop eating it!  We tried to buy this in a local import shop but no shops import grits.  Sadly, grits are not common in Korea.  So I asked a favor to his Mom to send these to us, please Mom~~~ :)

Girls of the 'Chung' family are having fun with my husband - this word is not familiar to me, still. :)  My cousins came to our house to have lunch on holiday.  Mike cooked chicken ceaser salad for us.  It is good having relatives around the same age.  We can meet and share gossip sometimes.

Mike wanted to buy these Crocs shoes before, but I disagreed to spend money on those funny shaped shoes again, again...  Finally, he bought these red Crocs this time.  He just looks happy with them and wears them most of time except at work.  Are you really happy, hon? :)

I watched this movie on the flight coming back to Seoul.  And I couldn't help but cry at the last scene of this movie.  I cried and cried...  Ironically, at that time Mike was laughing at a funny movie next me.  Oh... this movie remained in my heart still.  It is a hard, heavy feeling...

Finally, it is almost the wedding day.  We are worried about it raining on the big day, but we can't do anything about it.  We just were cutting out numbers and name cards for table settings.  Both of us did many things since we've started preparing for the wedding.  The cutouts might be the last process.

Thanks! This 100 dollars from my friend in Canada. When I opened the package, I was very excited. :) I am thankful for this present, even though she can't come to our wedding. Because, I know it is not easy to care for friend when they live far away.

My friends made a big event before my wedding.  I was really surprised when I opened the door to our apartment.  Someone was sitting our chair!  I was paused for 3 seconds.  I couldn't figure out what was going on.  And then, I found them laughing at me.  Thank you a lot for making an unforgettable memory before my marriage. :)

This is a sample centerpiece for the guest's table at our stylist's studio.  We picked a blue color theme for the wedding.  So I picked flowers with a blue color.  Our stylist understood my idea, and she made this main centerpiece.  I really loved this, especially the puffy white ribbon!!!!  This ribbon can make the guest's table look cool on a sunny day.
