Shuffling around the beach on Lake Michigan makes me feel it is the start of summer. I am not a beach girl, I prefer going to park more than the beach though. Nothing is better than living right next to a big park and the beach. Chicago is very active now, I love this energy! I pray this season is going to last a little longer, please------

I just found these pictures from the opening reception of Candida Hofer, who is one of my favorite artists, in Kukje gallery. These pictures conjure up lots of memories of that time. I met many good colleagues who influenced my life, I learned a lot of things about work and life, I dreamed to be a more artistic person like many of the talented artists I met, and most of all I met my real love, my husband.

Mike and I became close talking about the artists and works shown in the gallery. Thinking about then we really enjoyed being inside the boundary of the art.

So, if I think about us I can't exclude the time in the gallery and people we met there. Everything is the past now except for Mike and I, our ongoing life...

I like Caribou coffee as much as Starbucks. Their coffee is not too strong like Starbucks, because sometimes Starbucks coffee beans are roasted too much. Also, I like their package design and THIS message. I can't pass by this shop whenever I glimpse this message on their window. This is a great message to make people buy coffee!

Dreaming of our dream house. It is just happy to think of... :D

I love all kinds of antiques no matter what, even though I don't collect them much-maybe sometime when we will have our garage. :) I like the color and texture of old things. This shop, named POSH ignited my heart to go to Paris. I am not sure what the situation will be at the end of this year. But, I have always wanted to go to Paris on the last month of my 31st year of Korean age, of course I will be 30 years old in American age. I wish... :)

Oh, time has passed by so fast. I can't believe it is already May! I have my first big dead line at the end of this month. I have been so busy, and I am feeling pressure to complete my book.

These are some pictures from Della's house from last month. These pictures make me relax... Living in the city is comfortable to me. But, I have always dreamt about living in a farm house in the country with animals. I can't picture myself in that scenario, but I am just happy to dream about it. :)
