We will have a short trip to Indiana tomorrow.
This also means no baking and no sweet things for three days.

It's been quiet, and I am tired but happy. Things haven't been changing these days. I have been hectic writing and testing recipes with all of my time, but, surprisingly I am in peace. I have matured inside his love. I think I found a way I can find happiness everyday.

I am totally obsessed with this dish that was featured in the NY Times last month. Mark Bittman cooked this 'Jean-Georges's Fried Rice' dish his way. So, we tried it! The taste was so good, moreover it was easy to make with simple ingredients. When Mike asked me what I want to eat on our 1st anniversary, I was about to say "Fried rice!". :p

My Valentine's Day present. :)
Meagan came visit me here. It was such a long time since we had said good-bye in Seoul. We laughed at each other because we hadn't changed in four years. :) I spent a really good time with her. We talked about everything. We talked a lot more this time than four years ago. After she left from her short trip, I feel like it was a dream... a very warm and precious dream.

I have learned a lot during the three months since I have started this work. Too many things to keep reading, too many things to keep researching, still. I don't think there will be an end, I already studied a lot of information, though. Time has passed too fast...

Nobody imagined, as well as I never imagined, that I could write my own book. Of course, I had fantasies about it. If I didn't meet Mike, I wouldn't have thought about this subject at all. If I was not interest in antiques, I would pass by these precious things at the antique shops. If I didn't enjoy baking, I wouldn't propose my baking book. Everything happened very naturally after I determined I should do this. I am very appreciative of all these events that happened to me.
