These pictures are from my letterpress studio. I love this whole process before printing. It is as I imagined. It takes a long time to set up for printing, but it is worth it. Now, I am getting acquainted with different kinds of presses and wooden type. I get lost in type setting! :)

goose card

I caught these bunch of geese sometime last fall around our apartment. They were walking and eating too slowly ignoring the people watching them. I was inspired by them, so I put some of them into my screen printing work. It turned out to be a totally different scene. I enjoy getting themes from the nature.

Key lime cupcakes recharges my battery. :)

I have been little depressed this week kind of like a hormonal woman during pregnancy. Nothing happened, no reason. This unexpected visitor just came suddenly. I am happy about everything with Mike here. I just miss my people I love so much, that is it. I want to go through this moment whenever it visits me without any emotional feelings.

We walked around the ice rink at the McCormick Tribune Plaza after enjoying some exhibitions at the Art Institute of Chicago. It reminded us when we went skating two years ago after we just started dating. It was a very precious memory to us. :) The Cloud Gate was fantastic with the flickering skyline in the city at night.

I am thirsty to ride my bicycle around the lake. We stopped riding bicycles after the weather turned cold. Mike doesn't feel like exercising in the cold, so, automatically I don't feel like doing exercise alone. haha~ With these reasons we don't exercise at all except stretching and walking up the stairs in our building. ;p I will push him to run with me after he finishes his exam!

Mike cooked another pot roast dish in a different way with pork loin.
He is becoming an expert at cooking pot roast. :)

He roasted two mashmallows for us he mentioned a few times before. He must have missed this taste from when he was younger. He had fun baking it poked with a fondue fork. He looked like a little boy. I never had this roasted mashmallow so I couldn't assume the taste and shape. But, at least, I thought it would taste a little chewy. It was totally different thing after roasting. It was not tasty to me. :(

It is snowing all day here. It looked like snow bomb! The funny thing is that I am perfectly content on a rainy or snowy day. I just feel calm watching it. :) We checked the weather forecast, and it will snow a few days more. I am happy about it on the contrary to Mike. He dislikes snow like an old man. :p

Now, I really need thick rain boots to walk in the snow even though I never bought rain boots by myself.

Oh, how cute they are! They were trebling from the cold to wait for their mom or dad on the street. haha~ They didn't glance anywhere, just concentrated on watching the entrance door. So adorable!
